Gentoo vs Lilo

Hi everyone!

I currently use Mandrake 10.1 and boot loader Lilo.

Today I installed Gentoo 2004.3 correctly but instead of installing Grub I preferred staying with Mandrake's Lilo configuration.

The whole problem is that Lilo can't see Gentoo's kernel and initrd: it thinks that it's installed in Mandrake's /boot instead of device /dev/hda3

Here are my options:

Label = gentoo
Image = ?
Root = /dev/hda3
Video mode = 1024x768 16bpp
Initrd = /boot/initrd-2.6.9-gentoo-r1

do one thing

copy those kernel and image files from gentoo's /boot to mandrake 's /boot and make entries for them

I figured it out! : Lilo was doing stupid this so I installed Grub anyway!

Now all I nead to do is get a more attractive boot screen and change some stuff.
