Gentoo LiveCD Won't Boot

Ive been using Debian and Slackware and have now thought of trying to install Gentoo, so I d/led the Min LiveCD, and tried to boot it, but whenever i try it does nothing. Do i need the partitions before I install?

Athlon Xp 2400+ at 2.17 ghz
512 MB
Shuttle AK32VN KT266 Motherboard
80 gb Hard Drive (nothing on it)
52X CdDrive

I burned with Nero...

Thnx

Yes

Yes, I did both. Both are fine... when i boot my computer it says
Code:
Boot from Cd:
and then nothing...
And the md5 sums were the same.
