forgotten password
hi
got suse 8 installed , i changed my password with the passwd command, but then i forgot it. is there anyway i can get into the desktop or add a password without formatting and another system install. ????
if you remember your root password you can log in as root and change it.
If not, you can enter "linux init=/bin/bash" at the lilo prompt (when your computer boots) and then type "passwd <username>" to change the password of any user.
