File server help..
 

Hello guys,

I am a newbie to linux. I have been working with linux on and off when i can and have in the recent weeks been spending alot of time on linux suse 9.1 pro that I purchased. I dont know how to setup a file server I was wondering if anyone can help? I have got installed Samba an my windows computers can see the linux system (good start I think). I dont know how to have a user login and automatically linux loads that particular folder for the user so if it was admin. Admin would see Denis,Gary,Test and if it was gary he would only see Gary nothing else. so he can make files etc (chmod 7777) for example:

Admin: See's All folders for system

Gary: See's Gary's Folder only

Denis: See's Denis folder only

Test: Only see's Test folder only

Can anyone help me as I have been pulling my hair out over this problem for some weeks now and cant get the hang of how it is done?
