ext3 is it slower ????
the subject line is really the question can ext3 be slower because of the journaling that comes with it I soon will be upgrading to Redhat 7.2 and was wondering if i should select the old faithful ext2 my SAMBA server is running great considering it runs an K6-2 350@400
30 Gig 7200 RPM HDD with 192Meg Ram this is RedHat 7.0 with 2.4.2 kernel PS: before you ask why the upgrade my response would be why not |
