I like Debian best; Ubuntu, Crunchbang, Bodhi, and Tiny Core are runners-up.

Yeah I really like the Gnome 2.x as well, gets more work done without the glitz. Everybody seems to be saying how the Debian package manager is superior to yum.... and I've never really felt the difference. In fact, I actually like yum for its helpful cli feedback and installation. apt seems to be a mismatched collection of apt-get, apt-cache, etc. And I've never encountered issues with yum dependencies either. what is the difference between the two?

I currently use gentoo on all my machines. The other distro I used for a long time was (of course) slackware.

I like Slackware, Mint Mate Edition, and Arch. Obviously not for the same reasons.
