Error message pop to the screen


In my RH server, there are the below messages often pop to the screen console and teh /var/log/messages, the messages will pop every 5 minutes , but the server run without any problem , could suggest what is the problem ? thx

init: Id "8" respawning too fast: disabled for 5 minutes

Are you running X on a linux server? If so, are you booting it into runlevel 5 straight to the graphical prompt when you do boot it? Try booting into runlevel 3 and then use startx if you necessarily need to use X.. but if this is an actual server, learn to use it without X as its just a wasteful resource, an unecessary one for that matter as a server class install.

thx reply , but I don't start the X , is it caused by the runlevel , do you mean the problem will be solved if I change it to runlevel 3 ? thx
