Need to boot Ubuntu and Fedora from the same disk - separate Development / user environments. Currently the disk has been partitioned with Ubuntu gparted (Manual installation) and then Fedora was added afterward in free disk space with the automatic Fedora utility.
Would like to know how to install both from scratch so that at boot time I can select the right OS. -Thx

Why did you want to install from scratch ?
As you describe it Ubuntu is still there .
If you boot Fedora and GRUB is there press the escape key to see if UBUNTU is there as a second option.
If not run the command fdisk -l (L lower case) as root and post it over here .
