Distro with the most 64bit packages?

In your opinion which distro has the most 64-bit packages (rpm, deb, etc) compiled for it's system?

jollyjoice 06-04-2005 06:08 AM

well thats got to be gentoo, as it compiles them for 64bit, and I think it has the 2nd largest reposetry and way so...

win32sux 06-04-2005 07:21 AM

yeah, but the OP was asking about compiled packages... ;)

i think mandriva and ubuntu have pretty big 64-bit repositories, but i'm not sure...

I still vote for gentoo 'cause everything would be 64bit and it's as easy to install a package from the source with portage as it is to install a precompilled one with apt-get and alot more easy then with .rpm
