Here's hoping someone here has used Deli Linux

Can Deli handle sound?
I have been trying everything I can think of.
It didnt come with a sound module, but I was able to install everything and at one point it showed in lsmod.
Now it doesnt.
I've got all the alsa stuff, xmms, and all the correct libraries as far as I can tell.

Before I had them all in, my cdrom would mount fine and autoload .cda files to the /mnt/cdrom directory, and xmms would play them, but no sound to the sound card.

After I went through all the installs, my cdrom is gone.
The directory is still there, but its not in fstab anymore. I added it, but still no dice.

Any ideas what I could do?
Do I need to use another command to fire up my sound?
Am I wasting my time this way?
Must it be recompiled to work?
