Debian && spraken!!!

Hey all... yes I'm back with the 'ol sparc Qs.
Hooray right? heh...

Anyway... got a bare woody thrown down on an SS5(110). Latest stable.
All booting ok and yada yada.
Having a task with mounting a lil flopp. Seems to be my problem these days. Flopps don wanna mount.

It keeps telling me to specify the filesystem to mount. Even with the -t options and specifying fs too.

Any suggestions or fingers that can point me?

Tnx.

firstly it could be a broken floppy drive, other than that have you checked whether or not the floppy is in fstab and under what options? do you see the light go on when u try to access the disk?

Well, considering that I used a boot disk to do a debian install via the net... I'm assuming my flopp iz ok.

Plus it ejects fine, and when the OS decides it wants a flopp (i.e. root.bin disk) all is well.

fstab looks ok. It's got what it needs.
I'll have to stab at it a bit more.

tnx
