1. Linux Kernel Source (Downloaded from Kernel.org)
2. A Standard Linux filesystem with required binaries and utilities. (all the folders with in / directory)
Now I had tried partitioned a hard disk (target) into two and formatted one to ext3 and other to swap by connecting it to an existing Linux machine. Then I copied the entire filesystem (/directories) to the ext3 partition and made that partition as bootable using fdisk utility. After all I just configured the grub in the ext3 partition of the target hard disk and booted with my common PC.
Now all that I have to do is to Install into the target hard hardisk without depending on any working linux machine like what redhat do to install Linux on any machine.
In one line how to prepare my own linux distribution CD from the stuff I have?
