can't install wubi on windows 7 64bit

hey all i can't install wubi on windows 7 64bit i'm using an official ubuntu 9.04 disk and get this error:

You may have come across the above page, but of not, you might find it useful to *some* degree. It doesn't really come to any conslusion, but there are some ideas in there which seem plausible:

1-- Wubi is a headache; try dual booting instead.
2-- Wubi won't work with W7
3-- Wubi needs to be run in "Vista Compatibility Mode" in order to work with W7
4-- maybe something else, I can't recall.
5-- Oh, I remember: have LOTS of free disk space; you'll need it sooner or later. According to someone on that thread, the 10Gib W7 install will explode to 50+ Gib after a little while.

right is thee a way i can just add a line to my windows 7 bootloader to show/boot wubi?

i've got it installed now by downloading the latest 9.04 iso and mounting it.. which is weird as i was using the official 9.04 cd before :\
