Can't access some web sites!

I'm runner SuSE 7.3 Personal

Weather I use Konqueror of Opera I cannot get to sites like www.icq.com or to www.linuxapps.com (or .org?). I have read that it may be a DNS setting thing but I thought I would not be able to access any site then, unless I typed in the sites IP address instead of it's name. Any ideas on this?

Erik
