Introduction to Linux - A Hands on Guide
This guide was created as an overview of the Linux Operating System, geared toward new users as an exploration tour and getting started guide, with exercises at the end of each chapter.
For more advanced trainees it can be a desktop reference, and a collection of the base knowledge needed to proceed with system and network administration. This book contains many real life examples derived from the author's experience as a Linux system and network administrator, trainer and consultant. They hope these examples will help you to get a better understanding of the Linux system and that you feel encouraged to try out things on your own.

How do you build a custom distro/flavor based on Fedora, SuSE, or Mandrake?
What do you do to configure anaconda, yast or mandrake installer or how do you make the 3 install cds?
Please don't tell me to use LFS b/c I want to make one to distribute everywhere.
It seem like you either " know how to do it" or don't. I have not found any guides or tutorials.
My distro might be very similar to the base distro but have different themes, packages, etc. I know how to build packages, kernel and write some scripts. Are there any good scripts, programs, etc. to do this?
Fedora help would be nice, but I would prefer help for all three, especially b/c Mandrake and SuSE have better config tools and I might combine parts from each.
One way to learn would be to join a team that already does something similar to what you have in mind. For example, there are already a number of distros based on Fedora: Blag, Lorma, Aurox... probably a few more.
