Build a custom distro with custom boot and libraries

Hi, I haven't been around here for some time.

I want to ask something, I hope someone will know how to help me. The thing is I have a simple python script, and I want to create a new linux distro, based on debian/ubuntu/whatever, which will run the script as soon as the user logs in, and I am talking about running the distro as a live cd, so that code needs to be embedded into the distro. The script is dependable on some libraries, which also need to be included into the distro (internet connection is out of the question). Simple as this: A customized distro based on a popular live cd distro but with some startup codes and libraries included. How can I do this? You don't have to explain things to me, just point me to some nice sites or materials, thank you a lot.

Well I was going to explain how you could easily do it with Debian (You considered ewboontew... Really?), but since you said I don't need to i'll just post this link HERE

I hope that helps :)

Kindest regards,

.

T2 is nice, but may be overkill for this. An easier solution may be using the Debian Live build scripts: http://live.debian.net/

Hi,

sounds like Debian live-build might be what you are looking for.
