Boot Knoppix into CLI only mode?

Hi. If I want to boot a Knoppix Live CD into a command line only mode to run on a Pentium MMX 100 MHz...how would I go about doing that??? What do I type at the boot prompt....I know this comp can handle CLI as I once had Red Hat 9 with Gnome running temporarily on it (believe it or not...it was very slow however). Anyways, after that, I am throwing Vector on it and shipping it off to my grandma :P any help would be greatly appreciated

You want the Knoppix cheat-codes which is giving me an error from their site right now, so no link.
It is on the CD also.
I believe entering "knoppix 2" at the boot prompt is what you want.
There could be some others that will help you out.

at boot time, type knoppix 2 this will take you into runlevel 2, which is text only, and you will still get all of the hardware detection and such, but no XFree or KDE.
