What would you all say is the best distro I could remotely install?
I have a dedicated server, with no access to raw media with SuSE on it. But the partitioning is kind of "whacked", so I can either re-install SuSE, or pick another Distro.
Any ideas as to a distro I could install without requiring ANY media?
Also, if it has MySQL / PHP / Apache / BIND / Pop3 server / Sendmail that'd be good..:-P
Hmm... I don't know how you'd start the installation without -any- media but then again the worst i've done so far is install over HTTP. For that I had an Apache server set up with the contents of all the Mandrake 9.0 cd's, and a single boot floppy to initiate the install with. All the rest was downloaded from the Apache server. Getting closer I suppose
Oh, and, Mandrake carries all the applications you listed.
I'm not aware of a distribution that can be installed without _any_ media either. The closest I've seen is using the Debian installer with 4 floppies and doing a network install.
