Mandrake works!

After the buggiest Mandrake installation I've ever experienced, Mandrake 9.1 itself seems very stable. And it configured my devices perfectly. It shows them as 'scd0' and 'scd1', rather than 'cdrom' and 'cdrw'. K3b then tweaked fstab a little more, and by 3AM I was ripping a cd!

It's funny, but with Mandrake 8.0, 8.1 and 8.2, the installations were a breeze, but the OS stunk. This time it was the other way around. I'll post on the installation probs so maybe some other folks can benefit from my experiences.

Thanks again for all your help!

Siri Amrit
