Auto starting IRCD on SuSE 9.1

I just installed the IRCD RPM from the SuSE ftp site and I figured out how to start it manually and edit the config file, etc, etc. Now how the hell do I get it to start when ever the computer starts up?

I opened YAST, than Network Services, than Network Services (inetd). I clicked Enable, than Add. I put /etc/init.d/ircd in the Server field and "start" in the Server Arguments. I also put irc as the User.

I clicked on Ok and rebooted and the damn thing still doesn't start up. Can some one tell me what I'm doing wrong?

- Write a script that starts the thing.
- Save it to /etc/init.d/
- Open the runlevel editor (yast2 > system)
- Set it to start in the desired runlevel.
- Save it

Choose the expert option in yast2's runlevel editor, is more precise.
Also, you can try SysV init Editor, which is a great tool.
