hello-i am not from Latvia and therefore do not speak the language-but they made a really nice desktop with graphical features i havent seen before. is there anyway to change it to english? please help-its quite cool for being in a language i dont know.

thanks man-i thought i would never get a response. i'll try it. do you speak...uh..what ever it is?

it was actually right click->system->languages.

only one problem-i cant seem to access the internet through it.

Getting to the internet:
If using dialup
Systems >> net >> ppconf
Answer all the config questions. It will probe for external modem
It does not like PCMCIA card modems, also I could not get Austrumi to accept my wifi card. I do not yet have Broadband (too pricy).
If all is well, a go ahead box will appear.
Then start Firefox.

What a fabulous distro - Austrumi - it boots up in seconds, kicks out the cd, and runs entirely from RAM without any further need for the cd! There is only one problem, as above, I am struggling to navigate through the menus as my Latvian is non existent, and I don't seem to have the option to right click on the d/top, when I do, no menu appears. Any more clues than the above solutions anyone?

The version is the latest version 1.4, d/loaded it this week.

OK-I have not used the latest Austrumi, however you have one of two things to do. One, right click and go through the menu, there will be 2 flags, one Latvia, one England, obviously, chose the English flag. Or, go to the main menu and look for the same thing, that is how I found it.

Well, I have booted a friends Toshiba laptop with it today, and I'm still very impressed with Austrumi. However, I still don't have a right click menu, and the drop down menu does not contain any flags that I can see. I am using it to post this, having managed to configure the network, but this version appears to be only in Polish as far as I can make out. Does anyone else have any experience with this version - 1.4.0?

Click the leftmost monitor for the dropdown menu.
Istatiejumi -> Valodas (Then choose English.)
