amarok can't find engine on GENTOO

Hi, I've just installed my gentoo the last week.Now I'm emerging some useful software...
I've an atholn xp 3000+ , 1,5 ram and sata maxtor and gigabyte hd with a stage 3 throught a minimal install cd and network installation.
This is my make.conf

CFLAGS="-O2 -march=athlon-xp -pipe"
CHOST="i686-pc-linux-gnu"
CXXFLAGS="${CFLAGS}"
MAKEOPTS="-j2"
GENTOO_MIRRORS="http://www.die.unipd.it/pub/Linux/distributions/gentoo-sources/ ftp://ftp.unina.it/pub/linux/distributions/gentoo "
USE="symlink gtk -qt -kde alsa asf X gstreamer bluetooth cdr mysql vcd crypt cups curl dvd dvdr firefox ftp gpm gtk2 java lm_sensors mmx mp3 ncurses pda pdf perl python samba ssl win32codecs wxwindows xinerama xine xvid opengl avi jpeg msn audiofile vorbis flac real"
INPUT_DEVICES="keyboard mouse"
VIDEO_CARDS="nvidia

I wish a fluxbox desktop and xine as audio library ( with at lower level alsa of course ) with some apps like amarok, k3b and others , but without heavy DE such KDE and GNOME.I thought I could do it, but I ve a problem.The last time I used gentoo I installed KDE environment and I had not such problems.

When I launch
amarok
I get this error in a window:

Quote:
amaroK could not find any sound-engine plugins. amaroK is now updating the KDE configuration database. Please wait a couple of minutes, then restart amaroK.
If this does not help, it is likely that amaroK is installed under the wrong prefix, please fix your installation using:
$ cd /path/to/amarok/source-code/
$ su -c "make uninstall"
$ ./configure --prefix=`kde-config --prefix` && su -c "make install"
$ kbuildsycoca
$ amarok
More information can be found in the README file. For further assistance join us at #amarok on irc.freenode.net.

and in console:

Quote:
kio (KMimeType): WARNING: KServiceType:ffers : servicetype amaroK/Plugin not found
/bin/sh: kbuildsycoca: command not found
amaroK: [Loader] amaroK is taking a long time to load! Perhaps something has gone wrong

These are the packages I 've installed ( I write only the packages I think are useful for debugging ) :

amarok 1.4.0a-r1

media-libs/gstreamer
Latest version available: 0.10.8
Latest version installed: 0.10.8

media-libs/xine-lib THIS WORKS WITOUT PROBLEMS ( I USE XINE_UI TO LISTEN MP3 FILES )
Latest version available: 1.1.2-r2
Latest version installed: 1.1.2-r2

alsa THIS WORKS BECAUSE I CAN LISTEN MUSIC WITH XMMS AND MADPLAY ON CONSOLE

kde-base/arts
Latest version available: 3.5.2-r1
Latest version installed: 3.5.2-r1

Can you help me?

Thanks in advance

no, beacuse I always installed amarok from sources with my slackware, but with gentoo I was not too much secure to compile on it for the first time
I would prefer to use ebuilds

It might have something to do with KDE being the base for amarok. In your make.conf you've got USE="-kde -qt". Remerge amarok with those use flags enabled, just for amarok if you'd like, and see if that helps.
