Am iI a total noob? I Want better window Gui for gtk2 apps when working in gnome!!!!!
Hi all,
Im very happy with my mdk 9.2 and all the gnu apps i run with it... However... I am a dedicated kde 3.1 user, but i know there's some gtk2 (gnome) based apps (like galeon, gimp etc.) that u just cant live without... Ok,, so they run just fine, but with *terrible* flat grayed icon/menu-style.... I just dont get it... i've been browsing the net for a solution... but all that has across is some kde add-ons that make non-kde apps look like they use qt3 (kde). I should point out at this minute that I have (with same user account) used gnome and changed it appeareance to my please... Why the heck does it not look the same in KDE 3.1xx????? Any advice appreciated... so long guys:newbie: :newbie: |

You might be able to get your Gtk+ applications to use the KDE colors by running kcontrol (Control Center) and clicking on Appearance and Themes -> Colors -> Apply colors to non-KDE applications and then Apply. ___________________________________ Be prepared.
