im looking for a live cd that is easy to add apps to. really all i need to add for now is a directory with a few scripts, but i want to add them and then burn it to give it to someone for xmas. ive looked at ubuntu and slax, but from looking at the directory structure it isnt obvious how to customize it. im open to any suggestions, since this is an xmas gift and has to be done in a few days.
thanks.
ive seen that, but i want to add a specific app - an old win32 game thats been ported to linux, so i need to be able to manually add actually files, not just premade modules.
That shouldn't be too difficult according to this. A Slackware package is easily done (there's a few HOWTOs on the net), and you can convert that to a SLAX module. I can give you a hand if you want.
