2.6 Distributions

Can someone tell me what distribution they think will be first out with the 2.6 kernel and running gnome as the default DE?
I know the kernel has not had a final release yet, but I assume that distribution makes would aim to make a release that coincides with the kernel release?

Well, if you like guessing games.. I pick Redhat since they are just about to release Redhat 10, they might be holding off since its getting close to 2.6 release time.. but who knows really.. it could be anyone.

Slackware 9.1 is 2.6 ready... so that is just a download and compile away really...

I believe I read somewhere that one of the Suse latest version had 2.6 kernel installed. It may have been the business or professional version or something similar to it.

Suse 9.0

It may not have Gnome as default desktop though.

As far as I heard S.u.S.E ships with 2.6 as test-kernel, but by default installs a 2.4 kernel! Anyways Debian unstable is 2.6 ready also :-)
