YaST2 Hangs Firefox

Hello, i do not know if anyone else is having these issues but whenever i try to use the YaST package manager, it makes Firefox hang while its installing updates. I have kind of figured out that it happens mostly while there is moderate disk activity. No other programs suffer from this.

Has anyone else experienced this?

Thanks

_Dan

Are you using opensuse ?
If so what has firefox to do with Yast2 ?
If installing you do not need firefox.
Is it a good practice to update and browsing the web at the same time ?

Yes, opensuse 11. I do not know where the link is but something that yast does pisses firefox off. I don't see the harm of updating and browsing the web at the same time as firefox is loaded in memory and the updated files are stored on the hard drive therefore when i re-open firefox i will get the updated version. I can play crysis while updating in windows and ive always been able to have full use of my system while yast was updating, now with 11 it lags everything. Today it is lagging amarok and konqueror, things that arent being updated.

In my case if browsing the web and updating at the same my update take longer before it is finished , do not like a long update time.
Although firefox is working but slower both in opensuse 10.3 and opensuse 11.0 even my download speed is 20Mb/sec and have 4 GB RAM
But it could be that you have a higher upload and down load than me.
