Xubuntu 14.04 - Wireshark not added to 'group' in /etc after installation.

Seems to install just fine with other distros I've come across (in terms of not having this issue). Is there some way I can add Wireshark to the list myself? I know each listing has a serial number (???) and the user name and sometimes an X. Tried running Wireshark once after installing it just to see if that's what I needed to to get added to 'group' in Xubuntu 14.04, no dice!

Try this:
ls -n /path/to/wireshark_stuff.

Instead of showing user & group, it shows uid & gid
usermod to sort uid problems (man usermod)
groupadd to fix gid problems (man groupadd)

group, wireshark, xubuntu
