Hello everybody!
I have a problem on Slackware 12.2 with xfce 4.6 (downloaded from the current tree) using xscreensaver 5.07.
The problem is that when the screensaver ends (i.e. I move the mouse) it leaves my screen shifted on the right, with the missing part on the right moved to the left part. If I use nvidia-setting to change screen resolution and I click "apply" then "abandon" when it prompts for the changes to be confirmed, I get my correct visualization back.
It doesn't happen every time I use the screensaver, so I haven't a proper way to know how to reproduce the problem.
I don't know either if it is only a bad configuration issue or a proper bug.
I decided to post here because I looked on the internet and also on the linuxquestion forums without finding anybody with the same problem (perhaps I chose wrong key words in my search...)
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
