Thumbs up XMMS id3 tag (solved)

Hi everyone. I'm using the XMMS for audio playback, but recently I've found that it is easy to re-tag songs using Amarok. But unfortunately, all tags of songs modified by Amarok are messed up in XMMS What confuses me is that when I edit song in XMMS, all tags seems to be OK (check this image: http://roger.noir.sk/rozne/xmms.png. So why in the XMMS playlist the tags are messed up? Ty for suggestions.

Have you tried a different tag editor like Easy Tag? easytag.sf.net

XMMS is well known for screwing up tags but Easy Tag usually fixes those problems for me.

Hey,
Try disabling ID3v2 tags.

In XMMS, go to:

Options->
Preferences->
I/O Plugins->
MPEG Layer 1/2/3 Player.
Click on configure, in the config window choose the
Title tab and choose:
`Disable ID3V2 tags`.

This should fix the tags, which are displayed correctly in
the File Info dialog, but not in playlist.
