Hi,
I am new to linux, i tried my hands on fc 6 with gnome, and hear that xmms is real good at playin mp3s, i get it and do ./configure. Then it tells me i need the GLIB, i download both GLIB and GTK and install them, still the same problem,.....i check out some forums and docs and find these are supposed to be there in any good distro.,...so what now says i ? i have seen solutions to use yum , but i dont have a net connection and so cant use that,.....if any of you could help me in any other way,...will be really greatfull.
I have a feeling that it has something to do with exporting the library o something,....with the export path or sometjing like that,...but please do explain as i dont know how these work.....cheers....
