Red face xfce4-panel (or similar) lockable workspace?

I'm running debian 9 + xfce4 on a shared laptop and login. Running xfce4-panel

i keep my system setup so anyone can pickup and use my login without knowing the pass, and they can't tamper with root or mount some partitions without sudo.

I'm wondering if there's an easy way to password protect 1 workspace only.

So that I can do something like; have my sensitive stuff like facebook chat left logged in behind a passworded workspace 4, while 1-3 is open for anyone to pick up the web browser, change the music and access most of my files and games and stuff like that.

It's a shared home system with fairly little need for high security or privacy.

cheers

do you know about tty? it is not the same log in but it would be yours. all it requires is three fingers and a pass word.

I have not done this but it is possible to have more than one tty session running with a gui each. just switch them between the other 'guys' and yours.
