XFCE menu customization

I decided to try out Slackware 13.1. KDE would be nice if I didn't need pesticide for it. I'm trying XFCE right now. The menus drive me crazy, they just seem so cluttered. Is there a way to completely edit them to my liking? I've found no such option so far. I think I'm using 4.4.

There is a software named "Xfce Menu Edit". See if that helps you.

There's a page of guidance on the Xfce WIKI.
