xcompmgr + ati = epic fail
Hi.
I've got ATI Radeon HD 4870 video card with propietary drivers.
The problem is when i run xcompmgr -c windows disappear (sometimes blink).
How do i fix this?

Compositing does not work if xinerama is enabled (this is true for all video card and all drivers, by the way). Use xrandr instead.
EDIT:
Oh, it doesn't appear you are using xinerama. Interesting. Well, to be honest, I don't know how well compositing works with fglrx with multiple screens, either. Does it work properly if you use only one monitor or use xrandr to drive two monitors as one screen?

Are you using two separate screens, or just one screen stretched across two monitors? Your xorg.conf file suggests the former.
EDIT: Just show us your /var/log/Xorg.0.log file, actually.

i've fixed the bug. simply installed xf86-video-radeon  with free driver everything works like a charm |
