Widget in GNOME and Compiz

Hey guys,

I used KDE 4.2 for about a mouth just to see what it was like. There were several thinks I really couldn't live with, but there were a lot of things I really liked. My favorite was the widget. I was wondering if there was a good alternative for GNOME + Compiz. I know it has a widget layer and such, but I never had much luck... Any help would be appreciated!

Here's a link that you might want to check out and here are Gnome screenlets and here are some FAQ.Maybe you can search for screenlets with your package manager.

Thanks! I got screenlets working with the compiz widget layer in no time! I just put

Code:
name=Screenlet
in widget windows under Compiz Settings-> Widget layer-> Behavior.
