Why is the log-out appearing randomly in XFce?

The logout screen keeps popping up randomly in XFce. I have XFce4.8. I have used this for a very long time and never had this problem. At first, I assumed I was hitting a wrong keyboard shortcut, but then found it pops up randomly even when just using the mouse. What can cause it to pop-up? Is there some gesture? Or shortcut control somewhere?

After more occurances, I realized my UPS was turned off and the computer running on internal battery power, and drained to 80%, so maybe this is some kind of warning? I cannot find any settings in the XFce Power Manager suggesting this is a configurable behavior. With the UPS turned on, I'm not seeing this problem anymore.
