Can anyone give me a clue as to why it doesn't on mine ? maybe I deleted a certain package 'cause I've been doing some trimming down recently...
I suggest that you start synaptic. Then click on file -> history. Look through your recent history of deleted packages and any that look like a likely culprit you can check the descriptions in the synaptic main window.
Re-installed some packages, now when I double-click a calendar date all I get is a dialog asking if I want to make evolution my default email client, then after that, nothing happens. :-(
