What desktop do you use?
I am using FVWM.

I use Fluxbox
|
You're gonna get some comments about not including fluxbox on there I think. :) It would have been better to use checkboxes rather than radio buttons.
I use KDE primarily. I've been experimenting with Fluxbox considerably lately and still haven't become comfortable with it but I persist because it runs so damn fast. KDE for my usual stuff but if the computer is strapped for resources I go with XFCE and hopefully i can switch xfce with fluxbox eventually. |
At the moment I am using XFce.
|
Gnome for me. It's the perfect balance between not looking like windows, and easy to navigate.
|
Well, the only problem with fvwm is no controls.
you need to write all of the commands (firefox, etc...) alone in the terminal. It's now bothers me... |
I use e16. It's simple, solid, fast, attractive, and does everything I want.
|
Other... Openbox with pypanel, really nice on the laptop, doesnt take up to much space and is fast.. Also looks a little nicer than Fluxbox.
|
Currently using WindowMaker.
But thinking about changing to Enlightenment when I have time to re-learn everything :) |
fluxbox here
|
Fluxbox. I've used KDE, but found it difficult to work with. I like the simplicity and easy configurability of fluxbox.

IceWM, there's nothing wrong with it.

I use the tabbed window manager (twm). I'm just a caveman and don't understand your sophisticated desktop environment ways.
|
I'm currently using XFce on the computer I'm posting from, but on my personal box, I'm running Fluxbox. I used to really like Blackbox, but I dunno...
I really like Ion2/Ion3, but I don't like how it forces all your windows (by default) to maximum size - which is a pain in the arse if you decide to use another window manager, not to mention, not all applications can run in a maximized window. |
