Question Wants to automount nfs


Hi Can you please help me in Automouting the NFS share in linux pc.

i have mounted the nfs manually whenever i restart my pc it goes off.
in Server: /etc/export (i have added)
/opt/x1 *(rw,sync)
mount -t nfs 192.168.0.1:/opt/x1 /home/x2 in (clientpc)

help me on automouting the nfs which it should be stable after restart.

why sure, just place an enttry in /etc/fstab

Hello,

Adding it to /etc/fstab will do the trick. If you have it mounted manually you can check /etc/mtab and copy the line for your NFS from that file to /etc/fstab. Then after any reboot your NFS will be mounted.

Its working superb,you have helped me at right time thank you so much....
I have added the sme entry in fsstab its working.
