Question Using Motorola Phone tools in fedora 6 (linux 15)

Hi!
I am a new user in linux! Very much interested to use this OS. Thankx to those contributor who gave so much effort to make this OS compitable with Windows.

I want to use Motorola Phone tools in Linux 15 (Fedora 6). Is there anyone who can help me? I have CD for MPT but that is for Windows. So where can i get it for linux. Or is there any other alternative. If Yes how can i use it. Please describe in details as i a new user.
Thank you
Rony

See my thread on exactly the same thing in the Software forum here (ALWAYS search before you post).

Some posters apparently have had the ability to mount the motorola cellphone and read/write to it. I could not do that.

Personally, I'd like to get a copy of the phone tools CD, at least then I could use the windows version.

try kphonetools or moto4lin.
I haven't tried to get Motorola's stock tools working through wine... hmm I wonder.
Moxieman > if your interested I have the phone tools iso, and I'm sure it's all over torrent.
