Using KDE or Trinity in Xephyr

Hello,

Has anyone had any luck running KDE4 or even KDE 3/Trinity using Xephyr? I just discovered it when I installed Debian with GNOME. So far all the documents I am finding seem to give the same information.. something SSH. I want to be able to do the same Debian has except not with GNOME but a KDE.

Hello, your sentances are phrased the best, so forgive me if i'm understanding you wrong.
If all you want is Debian with kde, then you can install kde from within Debian,

apt-get install kde
or
aptitude install kde

Or you could reinstall Debian with kde instead of gnome; to do this, insert the dvd and start the install, and when you're at the first menu, go down to advanced options, and in there, select 'alternative desktop environments', or what ever it is, and when you select kde, it will return you back to the first menu and you can select install and proceed with installing Debian with kde.

Oh.. hey I didnt know I could do the advanced option! I will try that

I was originally asking though because I was wanting to try setting it up on my host system... Debian with Xephyr was on my VM.
