Using GTK 2x themes in Gnome

Hi guys

Quick question, and i,m sure its really simple, but I have not yet been able to work it out.

I want to use the following theme in Gnome, on a fresh install of the Mandriva Live 2009 cd.

http://www.gnome-look.org/content/sh...?content=86048

Ok, so I have downloaded it, and then I tried just dropping it on the System/Preferences/Appearance window, it seems to unpack and install, just fine, but it is greyed out and has a question mark over it, complaing that a theme called raptor isnt installed.

So, how am I supposed to use this?

Thanks, any help would be appreciated.

Emerald's are a girl's best friend

Raptor is an Emerald theme. Emerald themes are similar to Metacity, they are for the window decoration only. For gnome-panel you would use themes from Appearance caplet in gnome control center.

To use emerald themes, after launching compiz, run 'emerald --replace'.

Best of luck
