users and groups
 

Hi, well I´m newbie and I have some questions:

how can I "assign" to users and groups privilegies (write, read, etc) on files o directories?, for example, root creates a directory and I decide to give privilegies to an specific group, for example "student group A", I mean, I want that more than one users or groups can read, write files or directories, not only the "owner"

You've posted a lot of pretty basic questions recently. I'd recommend you download a live CD like Knoppix and then work through this Newbie Guide. It'll help you understand the basics of linux a lot better, things like file permissions and whatnot.
