any problem with yor usb disk . ever checked with other systems whether its readable or not???
or may be you need to load the usb module or something . dont ask me how :-)
When you plug in a USB drive, it should automatically be mounted in /media, unless it is formatted in a filesystem not understood by your system. What filesystem is on the USB drive?
Dude. Are you talking about Redhat Linux 5.0 or Redhat Enterprise Linux 5.0? They are very different beasts. Redhat Linux 5.0 was released back in the 1990s. It probably doesn't even support USB.
