Updates do not seem to be taking place

Hello,

I've been noticing for a long time now, that there's no updates taking place for any of my apps on LinuxMint 12 (lisa).

The only update I'm asked to do, is for Google Talk Plugin and nothing else - infact I just checked, and can see I'm using really outdated verions of Firefox, Chrome, Flash, etc..., yet until some time back, they used to update regularly.

Would really appreciate some help on this, pls.

Mint 12 is "end of life," completely obsolete, and will never get any more updates.

Gosh.

Now THIS is an issue - how to upgrade to the latest and I've been reading there's no way to upgrade, is there?

Did you click the link I posted?

Because Mint uses the Ubuntu repository, their new policy means that the current Mint will only be supported until the beginning of next year. If you want a Mint that doesn't need replacing frequently, get the long-term-support version 13 (Maya) which is supported until 2017!
