unset export variable

Hello,

I accidentally put variable "export QUILT_PATCHES=debian/patches" to .bashrc this should be in different dot-file.
Now having troubles because of it.
Deleting this line from .bashrc didn't help.
Thanks for any advice how to unset it.

cheers

Well,you can try with
Code:
unset name_of_the_variable
command.
What problems do you have exactly?

If you tried "unset" already, and you don't see it listed when you type "env", but it's still coming up every time you boot, it's probably getting set in another file.

I would try grepping for it in every hidden file under your home directory. If it's the DISPLAY variable for example, then I would try this:

$ cd; grep DISPLAY .*
