Question Unable to create new panel

I am unable to create a new panel. I have Ubuntu 12.04 LTS installed and I am actually logging into Gnome Classic. According to Synaptic Package Manager I have Gnome v3.6 installed (3.0+6 - I assume that I have the latest version). I use Gnome because Firefox does not play well with Unity .. but that's a different subject. I am finding that all I have to do is to RIGHT CLICK anywhere in the empty areas of the top or bottom panel to be able create a new panel. NOTHING HAPPENS !! So .. how do I go about creating a new panel?

I think you have to hold the Alt key down and then right click.

Unable to create new panel

Nope. Nothing worked. I pressed and held the CTRL key, ALT key, and even the "Windows" key .... nothing. If something is supposed to work then I suspect that just maybe my copy of Ubuntu/Gnome may be corrupted in some way.

Unable to create new panel

To all those who read this thread.

I have finally figured out how to add or delete a panel. You need to press and hold the WINDOWS (super) key plus the ALT key and RIGHT-CLICK in an unused area of an existing panel, such as the top or bottom panels. So I will be saying bye-bye regarding this thread. Thanks to anyone responding.
