UEFI Bios should upgrading hardware wait?

So i'm wondering what the future is for us with the whole uefi bios situation ive heard it prevents grub from installing any thoughts?

You will probably need to search on the web to find out whether a particular laptop or desktop model can have your distro installed. They recently discovered that due to a bug, a Lenovo desktop won't boot Fedora. It will Windows and RHEL. If you had purchased this model, you would be waiting for a firmware update before being able to install Fedora on it.

thanks it looks like i'll be waiting a year or so that way the begs will get worked out and fedora has time to support new hardware
