udevadm info -a -p , how to work with it ?

Hi,

i would like to know why when i am issue the following command nothing happed:
Code:
$>udevadm -a -p /dev/input/mouse0
although i have that device in the dev node.

as i have understand i have to query the udev database first in order to find another path for the mouse0 node, and then query with the above command.

i would like to know why is that?

Thanks.
