The first link is to a forum where someone is trying to boot by making changes on the windows system with msconfig. That's pointless and won't do anything. If you are trying to dual-boot with windows 8 or newer and Ubuntu the first thing you need to ascertain is whether your windows is using UEFI. If it is, then you need to select that option when you install Ubuntu. You will need to post a lot more detail before anyone will be able to do more than guess what problem you have. Did you actually go through the installation process? Did it indicate it had completed. Did you boot UEFI? Which windows are you using? Did you remember to create unallocated space before beginning? Did you turn off fast boot/start and anything related to hibernation?

Hi Yes my windows does use UEFI. I did changed from secure boot enabled to disabled, I also disabled fast boot feature. Yes I did complete the installation. It says reboot after I have removed USB and then after reboot windows 10 comes up. There is no opportunity to choose Ubuntu Vs Windows 10.
I did change the boot order after Ubuntu installation with efibootmgr with Ubuntu first and then Windows 10 still it gets default boot as Windows 10.

The post on askubuntu is mine only. No response yet there.

Since windows uses UEFI, it would be necessary to boot and install Ubuntu UEFI. Did you do that? In order to get help from someone here who is familiar with UEFI you will need to post more details. The best way to get details would be to use the boot repair software which you can get at the link below. Follow the instructions to either get it while booted to the Ubuntu installation media or download it on windows and burn it to a CD as instructed and then boot the CD. After booting to the boot repair CD, you should see an option to "Create Bootinfo Summary" so make sure you select that and do NOT try to run any repair. Post a link to the output here.

What is back door entry.

I boot Windows 10, Go to Settings > Update and Recovery > Recovery > Advanced Set up > Restart now > UEFI Setting > Restart

here I get an BIOS like screen and I choose Ubuntu as an OS.

I am wondering why I don't have access to network ? I cannot ping to google and ifconfig give loop back address 127.0.0.1

I tried the Boot repair but that doesn't work either.

Continuing with my previous attemp, I somehow could get internet in my Ubuntu and I did Ubuntu boot repair.
I'm attaching both screenshots
First is if Ubuntu boot repair and second one is once I click power button then I get that screen, no option to choose from but grub cli screen. Is there anyway to get into Ubuntu and or Windows ?

My system has now become unusable 😟😟

First, boot repair is not going to do anything to help with your networking issues. It's only purpose is to try to repair bootloaders.

If you used boot repair, you will see an option to "Create BootInfo Summary" when you use it. That's the option you should have selected and posted a link to the output here. Might try running it again as the image you posted is nothing but a list of commands avaialble from Grub2.

i see only one screenshot.
what i see is a borked grub.
it is quite easy to fix, actually.
maybe the previously suggested boot repair can fix it (this howto suggests it can).
