Upon starting my computer one day, I saw a new KDE startup tip that I actually wasn't aware of
. It said that I could enable transparency and shadows in KDE by opening the "Window Behavior" control panel and checking the boxes to enable them. I did this, and at first, I saw no effects. As I recall, I even restarted X, still to no avail. I decided it wasn't worth wasting time on, so I said "eeh" and didn't worry about it.
After rebooting however, I did see the effects, and thought that they were very cool. The problem though, is that sometimes when I switch windows, the window I switch to may remain transparent, or when I switch back, the first one will be transparent.
If I minimize and restore the window, sometimes it will again become opaque, though sometimes it takes more tries, ore requires alt + tabbing, or some kind of messing around.
Basicly, my question is . . . How do I make it stop doing that? Obviously I could just disable transparency, but I think it's cool, and I'd like it to just work. I'm using KDE Version 3.5.9. Also, I forgot to mention, since this problem began, the K button has, intermittenly as well, stopped working. As I said, it's just random, and It'll start working again shortly, after I move some windows or something, but I'll click on the button, and It will become "depressed" as in clicked in, but no menu appears. This is all very annoying.
Thanks in advance,
